Another thing I like about this trade now that I've had time to think about it, it adds a new excitement to a team that could very well have gone into a funk once Marty was gone. I think players may actually see that move and have an interest in playing here now, it shows we're serious about winning.

i will say this the devils are a team that should have some cool mask designs. can do a lot with devils. not so much with other things like flyers/islanders/rangers etc.

it really should be 60/40 marty to start the season then something like 70/30 cory towards the end after the olympics. cory is the future he hopefully will be in this division for the long haul i would like to get him into some intense divisional games down in the playoff stretch drive.

The one good thing that I like (obviously we'll see how they feel when the season starts), but both seem to be pretty level headed about the situation. As far as I can tell both Luongo and Schneider handled the situation pretty well in Vancouver with the media being the real problem, claiming goaltending controversy etc.
