I agree. Or at least purchase Jim Adduci from Toledo. He can play LF and fill in at 1b.

VMart will be in a Tiger uniform until the team falls back to the cellar. He's a "name". Eventually, someone in accounting will signal that the team can eat the rest of his contract. As long as his BA stays around .250 he has a job.

Victor Reyes is a Rule 5 guy, so they either carry him at the major league level or waive him. To which my response is: "So we might lose him? So what!!"

I would agree with calling up Stewart, but he's an atrocious outfielder. Even if they bench Victor at DH, I have a feeling the next in line is Cabrera.

That's why I think Adduci might get the first call when they give up on Reyes. He is hitting at AAA and can back up at a couple of spots.
