The Sox might as well call it a season because they're not catching the Yankees or the Rays.

HA. Yes it is. But Ortiz seems to have lost it, along with a few other veterans they have. Franchona has very few options to work with.

mother fuckers...

it's still early

At least you know what's it's like for your favorite MLB team to reach the playoffs and succeed. I once knew that feeling, but it's been 20 years since my team won it all and 15 years since their last playoff appearance!!! LOL.

what pisses me off is that on paper, the sox have a top 3 lineup...

we'll see if anything changes when jacoby and cameron come back.

kind of sucks that if your favorite team isn't the Yankees your team has no chance of winning it all.

I wouldn't call it a season yet. The Yanks usually start off lame and come back.

That's bullshit man! The Marlins, Cardinals, White Sox, Phillies, Angles, Diamondbacks, Red Sox all won titles within the past decade.

Sure the Yanks pay a lot of money to some big time players.. but look who came up from their system: Jeter, Pettitte, Posada, Rivera, Cano, Gardner, Cervelli, Chamberlain, Robertson, Hughes, Pena, all with the team last year and all played important roles. Also, Melky Cabrara.

It's a business, and the goal is World Series.

If that were the case, then no other team would have won the WS this past decade.

that was earlier, before all the other teams decided to give up on winning and let the Yankees get a bunch of free agents to start their dominance, yet beyond that they still had good people already.
