Deer hunters

I'm looking for a rifle
I've never used a rifle for deer before and am considering a 30-06 and a 308
i understand that with my limited rifle experience that it wont make a difference, but what are your thoughts? you good nebraska people have to have some insight for me.
and if you have one you want to sell me for cheap, that would be great

I personally like 308's better, but just an opinion.

thats what im told. that the difference doesnt come out until ranges i wouldn't shoot anyways
if only i could find more land to hunt, then my poor muzzleloader wouldnt feel so damn sad sitting there all the time not being used

that's just part of the fun. it's like when you sneaked into a girls house late at night. sometimes her father isn't the happiest when he comes to say goodnight to his little darling and you're half naked in the closet. it's part of the risk

do you happen to have any daughters that are at least 18?

I don't have any daughters period, and definately not 18. I'd been getting it on when I was 7 if that were the case.

Ive shot both but for deer id say .308. Ive used probly 6 different calibers trying to find what I like the best. I used a buddys 25-06 and FELL IN LOVE. Havent used anything different. Every once and a while I but out the 22-250 but thats just for fun haha
