Gordon will be playing CF for the Mariners. I think it's worth taking a gamble to see if his speed can turn him into a top flight defensive CF like Hamilton or Buxton. Not an ideal bat for the outfield, but his base running makes up for that IMO. He's either Billy Hamilton with a merely below average bat or he's Juan Pierre 2.0. Does he have the arm for the outfield though?

Not a bad haul for the Marlins though.

It's a risky move - speedsters don't age well in their 30s and he could potentially be with the team until age 33.

No, but once Gordon loses his legs as an asset, which according to his age, will be soon, he is a virtually useless baseball player
