Oh and one other thing, when you factor in the fact your QB will have down weeks because you are waiting on one, can you really expect to win without a productive QB and a TE in the same week? Carr didn't show up every week.

See these are the things that make us look forward to competing in a league with you. Should be tons of fun.

Only got through page 2 on this one, but here's my take: Rudolph is not a bad pick. That said, once you are past the top 5 or so TEs, everyone else is a crapshoot.

And Mr. Brees, yes, Hunter Henry is a TE2 right now...but arguably the TE2 with the highest upside of all of them.

On a somewhat (in my crazed mind) related note, a work buddy of mine frequents Tight Ends Sports Bar & Grill in Plano,TX (unabashed plug!). He keeps trying to drag me along. One day I shall have to break down and say yes.

Did I just read something about Travis Kelce NOT being a top TE? :what::what::what:

Nowhere near as good as Kyle Rudolph.

I want to know what kind of league Brees was in where someone dropped Kelce in the middle of the season.

They've dropped virtually everyone at one point or the other, but don't ever question the competence or competitiveness of his leaguemates...

Those are all TE2s. An elite TE is a fallback plan in case your receivers you draft don't pan out. You will hardly find a productive surprise TE on waivers each year.

Yes you will. You are incorrect. So that you learn your lesson I will let you find out the facts for yourself. But I'll give you two of the most recent to get you started - Cameron Brate, Gary Barnidge. You create the rest of the list. Go back ten years please... (Another hint: Julius Thomas will be another one of your answers)

Jordan Cameron before that
Hell, not even mentioning that most all of the TE2s get cycled on and off people's rosters throughout the season.
Sometimes catching a couple that both have good stretches at opposite points of the season can give you TE1 production from multiple TE2 guys

Or just wait for someone to drop Kelce or Olsen again in your league.

Rejoining this thread........

After seeing Charles Clay's December stats, maybe I might take a chance on him.

I wasn't me, I swear it! :pound::pound::pound:

He was dropped after week 7 when he had b2b low reception games and his TD against Pittsburgh was also weak. He really had yet to also break out as last year was his first year at the top level.
