That only stuck out to me because they happen to be playing my team. Otherwise it would have gone unnoticed.

My Shockers are looking good this year. The Irish took a bad loss against MSU after beating the Shocks but The Shocks got a little balance beating #16 Baylor the next week. #6 in the country and looking like a final 4 team! Tonight's game should be pretty easy.

And doing all this without Markis McDuffie, which is super impressive because he's arguably the 2nd best player on the team. Looking forward to seeing them in AAC play, which will be a sizable step up from the MVC.

I can see a couple upsets today. I can see Va. Tech beating Virginia. TCU is surprising me so far but I wonder if they'll be able to keep it going during conference play. TCU vs. Nevada on December 9th is all of a sudden looking like a fantastic game.

lol, during Manning's first year, Wake and NCSU randomly had a conference game in early December. No one else in the ACC did. Was pretty weird, but the ACC's current leadership has done a ton of strange things to the Wake/NCSU series. Wake and NCSU ended the regular season playing each other for decades, but they haven't done that since 2008. I have no idea why they ended that tradition.

Markus Howard might be the most valuable player in the country right now and he can't stay out of foul trouble

With only a 8 man rotation until Frolling is eligible, Marquette borders on brain dead without Howard.

Dudes elite. Needs to just not try to play defense.

I wish Cuse-UConn was a conference rivalry again. The ACC really should add Cincy and UConn to strengthen their basketball prestige and also adopt geographic divisions in football (which we all know the NC schools really want so that they can play each other again).

Also the Big East-WCC rivalry takes center stage at the Jimmy V Classic (believe it or not Zaga isn't the only good team in the WCC, you also have SMC and BYU).
