Went with a late riser that I was super high on early in the process. I'm a little surprised to see consensus mocks moving him inside the top 5. I love the combination of size, speed and power. Tweener label doesn't bother me, because he's shown to be effective all over the line. I love the versatility. Think that's a staple of NFL defenses for years to come.

This draft is moving right along so far. Im honestly a little surprised to see two safeties drafted inside the top 5. Adjusting the rookie scale in the last CBA actually lets teams take the top of their board like that instead of gambling on whoever they had rated as one of the top QBs, LTs, shut down corners or pass rushers. I like it.

Yeah, I'm not big on what the experts are saying about the Jags. I like the prospect, but I don't think it is a big enough need for them to pull the trigger there. I really wanted Adams, but felt that if Hooker was healthy that there would be a crazy debate about which is better in the weeks leading up to the draft. The Jags have proven they are willing to work with injured guys.

It's nice to see the safeties getting some love. With such prolific offenses across the league, these guys have to matchup with top TEs, slot receivers outside guys and RBs. Has to make DC all warm and fuzzy to have two defensive backs drafted in the top 4 picks.
