Bobby Ray was "effectively wild" but pitched shutout baseball into the 7th. Had some good defense behind him with a catch by Tomas and a great stab and catch by Pollock.

Rodney gave up 2 in the 9th but got out of it for a Save and the 7th win by the Dbacks.

How do you think Rodney is doing so far? I think the last game was telling, unless it was a fluke of a day.

Not sure there is enough of a sample size. He has given up 3 ER in 4 games. Last night was 2 and had the tying run at the plate when he finished the game.

In a close game, you kinda like shutout pitching. So far it hasn't hurt but who knows.

Tonight we get Shelby Miller for the second game. He was decent the last game, hopefully he is good this one as well. Would be nice to win the series and stay up where nobody thought the Dbacks would be this year.

Shelby Miller takes the mound, hopefully like he did in his first start. Keep the offense racking and lets get win 8 to start the season 8-2.

The game is going to end up being washed out mid way through. There is a storm brewing to interrupt baseball.

I hope we can grab an early lead while getting 5 innings in to make the game official.

Depends. 10% at 8pm up to 60% at 10pm for AT&T Park. If it was here in AZ good chance of not a lot of rain. SF is already at 70% humidity though (common). Will see.

Took the lead in the first and then things kinda fell apart in the 5th and and then again in the 7th. Only 1 more run after the 1st.
