Would this be the perfect scenario for CP3 to return to New Orleans?

Cousins and Davis would thrive in an offense ran by Chris Paul. Pick and rolls with those two versatile bigs who could dive to the bucket or pop out for a jump shot would be hard to guard.

Surround them with some shooters and wing defenders and you have a top 3 team in the West.

That'd be absolutely ridiculous lol. CP3, Cousins, Davis on a team. I can't imagine anyone staying with that. Maybe GS with the insane perimeter shooting but if GS was off for the night on the perimeter shots good night.

CP is 31 and injury prone. If you bring him in.....you'd better have a solid backup who can start 22-25 games for when CP gets hurt.

Danny would think that was a joke.

Jones is probably better than any 4 on the C's roster.

Obviously the Pelicans would need to add another asset to get that done (2019 1st rounder?) but it would be worth a shot.

They would challenge Golden State and San Antonio for the West. GS wouldn't have the big bodies to deal with Cousins and Davis. They would pound them inside and if they choose to double and rotate on them then CP3 would make them pay.

Yah, it'd be a pretty cool thing to witness. In the era of superteams, I guess let's just trim the league down to 16 teams and go immediately to an extended playoff schedule. Pelicans would clearly be a part of the picture with those two on the roster.

CP3 is the type of player that relies on skill, bball iq, and craftiness more so than his athleticism. I think he'd still be a real good pg well into his 30s

Terrence Jones is a solid rotational player. The Celtics have a gaping hole at the 4 and like skilled big men, which Jones is. He could give them 20- 25 minutes a night and they have a couple guys who could easily fill Smart's role.

Smart is more valuable, so not a straight trade. But yes, it could be mutually beneficial. Celtics are running out of options to make a big deal and they have to trade some guards at some point.
