New York Giants running back David Wilson announced on Twitter on Monday morning that he's been "cleared for everything," indicating that he got the news he was expecting from a CT scan on his surgically repaired neck.
If Wilson's information is accurate, he would be able to practice in full with the rest of his teammates when Giants training camp practices begin Tuesday.
Wilson injured his neck in Week 5 last year, missed the rest of the season and had surgery to repair the injury. He participated in some practices in OTAs and minicamp in May and June, but the Giants held him out of drills that could expose him to contact for fear of the damage he might do to himself if the neck wasn't fully healed.
Last month, Wilson said he had another exam scheduled for Monday, the day before the start of camp. And assuming his tweet reflects the official information he got from the doctors, he got the result he wanted.
