Re-instated by the NFL and released by the Cardinals. I've got no clue what's going on with him but he could ball previously. I'd be interested to see what he has to offer. He's 30 so he's probably still got something left in the tank and he's in the position where he doesn't have the mileage that most 30 year-old linebackers have, thanks to that 3+ year suspension (blessing in disguise, am I right?).

No thanks, I'll take my chances w/ Joe Walker - showed good upside until he got hurt in the preseason. I'd rather they wait and take a flyer on Josh Gordon, whenever Goofdell decides to reinstate him.

Seems like they are just trying to mind fuck him. Seeing if he will slip up from now until the fall after this disappointment. Hopefully he can keep on the straight and narrow and redeem himself.

The dude was an absolute baller, but obviously had some major red flags as far as character goes -- interesting as a lot of eagles fans wanted to use a 2nd rounder on Mixon who is a complete scumbag and seems much worse than Washington. I hope Washington has taken some big strides as a human being over the last 3+ years. I don't doubt that he can still play at a high level.

I'd take a chance on him. He's probably very hungry and I doubt he's cost that much. He would have to prove himself but that's kind of the idea here. It's not like we're loaded at outside linebacker either.

It looks like he likes to beat up women too:

Was this dude's career ruined because he was smoking weed? WTF, a 3 year ban? I guess the assault had something to do with not being re-instated sooner, but the original was just failed drug tests, right?

I think so. The biggest red flag is that Arizona seemed willing to give him another chance, then met with him and decided to let him go.

Maybe this will be the guy that goes crazy and kills some NFL executives responsible for the drug policy!:hope:

I wonder how the league will handle Pot after it's legalized in every state?
Goodell - please turn over the discipline regulations to Troy Vincent, or someone else.
You can't do the job consistently.

It's still illegal under federal law and there's no indication of any impending change in that regard. So, I don't think the NFL will care if all 50 states legalize it.
