Both Montee Ball and Landry Jones are returning for their senior season. Damn, this really effects our draft plans as a team in need of a QB, aka Miami, Washington, Seattle will now all be fighting for players that would have helped improve the Bengals.

This was supposed to be a great QB class but with Barkley and Jones dropping out, it's not

I suppose Jones is trying to avenge his poor showing at the end of the season. Certainly not the season he was looking for, and maybe he felt he would drop in the draft. Given all the quarterback needs in this year's draft, it's hard for me to believe he'd slip past 10. Jake Locker had way more question marks than Jones and he went top ten last year.

I was reading that Jones was told by people around the league that he would be first round, but not necessarily top 10. With the new rookie structure, it doesn't kill him to go back to school and try and make himself a top 5 pick.

Jones isn't a great QB. I wouldn't pick him in the 1st round. Locker was a way better prospect IMO at this point.

Teams are desperate for quarterbacks. Christian Ponder was taken in the 1st round last year - Whether you like his game or not, he was never near the prospect that Landry Jones has been hyped to be. At the start of this past football season many folks thought Jones could be the second overall pick - After Luck.

Oh I know. Jones had a bad year and with the rise of some other QB's (RG3), I don't think he was a top 10 pick. Now he just has to battle with Barkley to be the top QB in next years draft.

What was impressive about him? Lets not forget the talent he had around him and what players like Jason White did there. Locker had zilch around him. Nada.

Jones is better than Locker, but he's not as good as he was hyped. He looked really inaccurate at times.

I'm dissapointed that Ball is staying in. Typically, I cant stand Wisconsin RB's but Ball looked phenomenal in the rose bowl. Woulda been a great pick in the 2nd and a steal in the 3rd (where they were projecting he'd go). Landry Jones did not deliver this year.

Ball has a great skill set. He's got power and speed. I don't know if he has the "break away" speed needed at the NFL level, but he certainly got enough to rip off nice chuncks of yardage.

Ball = Bust. Wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole.

There are few exceptions, but the best teams have smallish, fast, elusive, receiving backs. Ball aint that. This aint your Daddy's NFL.
