Wake up assholes
Some asshat Detoilet troll dared tp disturb my sleep
Mariano got a year of worship where he demanded that all opposing teams honor him with gifts because he's so amazing. Meanwhile, Todd Helton joins Hall of Famer Stan Musial as the only players in major league history with at least 2,500 hits, 550 doubles, 350 home runs and a .310 or higher career batting average and was humble and gracious yesterday when he got a standing ovation from the Arizona fans.
I'm so sick of the media telling me how great and "classy" Mariano is when I constantly see otherwise. The guy is an arrogant asshole who demands that the baseball universe revolve around him. But what can you expect after 20 years of a guy being told by virtually everyone that he is baseball greatness in human form?
And we all know he won't be able to stay away.
The Rangers dropping six straight and 9-10 is astounding. Cleveland is only a 1/2 game back with 13 to go.
Can you cite where Mariano "demanded" anything, or is this just a latest example of your trolling?
Also, I wouldn't say the Yankees are done yet. Not that they're not trying to be done, but Texas and Tampa don't seem terribly interested in winning these days either, so they're keeping the Yankees in it somehow despite the Yankees having no pitching whatsoever.
The AL Wild Card is going to be a lot of fun these next two weeks.
Yankees gets beat down again by the Red Sox
Braves will most likely lock up the division sometime this week
I wouldn't either...
The royals, o's, rays, rangers, and indians haven't taken matters into their own hands either
i would love to hear uno's counter argument to this
it's a great time for baseball in general when this happens
highest payroll and #4 seed in the AL East.
Hey Cappy, just checking in before I head over to one of my sites, but it looks like your Tribe are gunning for the Division lead. That, I'd support.
Yankees = FINISHED. In caps. If they can't get up for Boston when they desperately need every victory they can scratch out, then they're done.
Brock, you're homo.
i know, i get this all the time
wrong in so many ways
what has Mo ever done that didn't scream "class"
he isnt demanding this attention, teams are giving it to him...and its genuine
he might be the best player in the history of baseball respective to his position, and he was better in the playoffs than he was in regular season
he deserves every bit of attention he gets and all the accolades that come with it
why do I think your shit opinion has to do with glenn hoffman's brother?
Texas/Tampa series should be a good one. Rangers have been in a huge slump, this is the turning point right here for them.
Cleveland has KC again, then nothing but bottom feeders. The way they are pitching/hitting they have a good shot at making it if they don't fuck it up.
Yanks will have to go on a rampage to get back in the race.
What is this garbage?
So everyone in and around baseball got it wrong and Hammer got it right? Mo is arrogant asshole that has fooled everyone but you?
Fact is hes the opposite of an arrogant asshole, that's why he is recognized by is peers the way he is
Can we recap the "Classy" Todd Heltons career? The part where he went from a perennial 35-40 HR hitter to a 7-10 HR hitter?
No, nothing suspect about that guys career
Yeah, and everyone with a brain should know Mo will never pitch again. Won't stay away my ass
let's say he was on the "list"
let's be realistic, nobody can close that many years these days without the juice or at least tommy john surgery. correct?
except for kevin millar, tim wakefield and doug mirabelli. they didn't juice.
in fairness to yankee fans, i don't suspect joe torre of roiding
you guys suck today. i'm going to lunch and getting my smoke on...
