Basically which weekend do we drop down to 20 players.

1 Would be the HOF weekend. No Preseason
2 Would be the weekend where most teams play their 3rd preseason game
3 would be the final preseason weekend.

Basically I am going to drop the roster number to 20 on Friday night/Saturday Morning and you have til a set time on Monday to get down to the new limit. The time will probably be some point Monday afternoon.

I actually think preseason week 4 might be quite helpful in making decisions between guys we are considering cutting. Nobody who is playing the first half in week 3 is likely to get cut.

True.
We want to remember that our league is pretty deep.
Beyond some of the fringe vets, many are hoping that a rookie or 2 (who may be long shots) make their team's roster.
Beat reports and analysts can "guess" all they want about who may make the final team or not, but no one knows for sure until after preseason game 4.
Just saying.
