D1 Rookie draft 2018 discussion

going off last year's poll, the majority opted for a one week period between end of the real draft, and start of ours, so:

1. Real draft ends this Sunday evening, April 29th.
2. Our draft will begin, Monday, May 7th, 8:00 am eastern
3. A 24 hour clock for each pick will be in affect. The clock DOES NOT reset in the event of a trade while on the clock.
4. Format is the same, slow draft here on the hoop, drop and draft, 20 roster spot max. In order to make a pick, there must be an empty slot. Legal lineup ability must be maintained at all times.
5. In the event of an unforseen absence or unavailability, myself or OBX must be notified, we will pause the draft. If we are not notified, you will be skipped after the 24 hour clock expires, and any subsequent picks will be skipped automatically until we are notified.
6. If a pick is skipped, that team can make their selection from the available pool at any time.

BTW, yes, 1.1 can officially pick anytime they like starting now, and everyone can follow accordingly, but the time clock will not start until 8am Monday the 7th of May, regardless of how many picks may have been made

No problems here. I hope that Ram goes ahead and makes his pick right after the draft, so I can spend a week in the spotlight again fielding trade offers like last year. LOL.

Should finish up on Friday of the first week. But normally we don't stop for the weekend unless someone is going out of town.

I imagine we all know who the top players are just not what order. And in the past people have done pre draft boards in the past. Go ahead as far as I am concerned

well whether its directly in a D1 or D2 thread, or elsewhere, at some point, we've all tipped our hand as to how we think the top end will play out in one way shape or form...hell, once we get started, D2 has a roadmap of what we did, so what the heck..go for it I say
