Curtis Weaver needs only 2 1/2 more sacks

To put himself in first place in the Career Sacks in the Mtn. West Conference record book. Currently Curtis Weaver has 26 1/2 career sacks (in a little over 2 seasons) and the current Mtn West Sack leaders are:

Jerry Hughes - TCU - 2006-2009- 28.5 career sacks
Jan Jorgensen - BYU - 2006-2009 - 28.5 career sacks
Curtis Weaver - Boise State - 2017-Present - 26.6 career sacks

In the Tackles For Loss category Weaver would need 12 1/2 more tackles for loss this season to move into 1st place in the W.A.C. career T.F.L. list. He has 7 T.F.L. so far this season.

That's a good point. However last year Boise State (as a team) had two sacks vs. Air Force and in 2017 Boise State had four sacks vs. Air Force (one of which was made by Weaver).
