McCasland doesn't belong on this list. While the Giants did draft him in 2010, he did not sign. They drafted him again 2013 and signed him that year. Instead, Josh Osich should be the 10th player on your list, and I think he could very well be gone from the organization in the next few months as well.
Both Arnold and Lollis could return. They were both re-signed by the org last year, after their 1st year as free agents, and the org does like keeping a few of their own in the farm.
I think that Kyle Crick could be added to the Parker, Belt and Panik list as possible departures. I say that because, if there is one area of strength on the team, its probably the bullpen and if the Giants want to land someone big, they might through in Crick to entice the other team.
Good catch on McCasland. I just cut and pasted from my previous list, and I had McCasland as #9 in that post...

1) Madison Bumgarner (1st round 2007)
2) Buster Posey (1st round 2008)
3) Brandon Crawford (4th round 2008)
4) Brandon Belt (5th round 2009)
5) Ryan Lollis (37th round 2009)
6) Jarrett Parker (2nd round 2010)
7) Jeff Arnold (26th round 2010)
8) Joe Panik (1st round 2011)
9) Kyle Crick (1st round-sup 2011)
10) Josh Osich (6th round 2011)

It's weird to consider MadBum more of a "senior" in this case to Posey, but people tend to forget (myself included) that Bum actually beat Posey to the big leagues as well (by a few days). Posey made the huge impact in 2010 after the flaming hot summer, and Bum really turned it on by September onward. I feel like a lot of people associate the World Series era beginning with Posey, which is wrong because both guys played huge roles (it was Timmeh IMO though who began the true title era, but that's a different argument)

Gregorio joined the org in July of 2010. That would place him at #8, ahead of Panik...

I missed seeing McCasland on the list before. Whoops.

I had also forgotten about Gregorio. I forget the free agent guys sometimes. With that being said, I looked up some more guys that should probably be on this list.

Eliezer Zambrano needs to be the senior member of this list. He was signed by the Giants out of the Dominican in 2006. He's been with the org every since then.

Also, the Giants acquired Juan Ciriaco from the Padres in 2008 and has been around since then as well. I don't know when they got him but it was after the 2007 season and before the 2008 season. He would slot in just before Buster Posey. Since he's already been re-signed, he will be with the org, barring a release in spring training.

Cristian Paulino was a international free agent the Giants picked up in 2010. He is also from the Dominican Republic. Don't know if he signed before or after the 2010 draft.

Finally, there is Myles Schroder. He was drafted in 2007 by the Giants but did not start playing until 2011. What I don't know about him is if he signed in 2007 or 2011. He was drafted in 2007 out of Diablo Valley College.

I assume all int FAs signed in July, so I would slate them in AFTER the draft of the same year.

I will look at this either tonight or tomorrow and update the list. Thanks for the assist.

HA, beat you! :heh:
Your post about Flores and Sands made me wonder if BA posted minor league transactions, so I wandered over there. Apparently, you were getting the information at the same time that I was (or were you just waiting for me to post and hit send ).

Shouldn't you move Matt Moore to the first part of the list since the team already exercised his option and move Bumgarner down since his option hasn't been officially exercised yet?
Did they actually exercise the option, or just say they were going to?

Good point on Bum....

According to COTS, the team did, in fact, excercise the option.

Giants have claimed speedy 2nd baseman converted OFer Micah Johnson off of waivers from the Reds and added to active roster.

He's not much of a threat with the bat, but he has excellent wheels. He was part of the Todd Fraizer deal (went to the Dodgers in that one).

Bench guy. He'll probably play the waiver carousal game this offseason, was just claimed last week by the Reds.

He's also an artist somewhat

Fed X DFA’d to make room...
Wow, I didn't expect both Federowicz and Brown to be dfa'd this quickly together. Why wasn't Vielma dfa'd for Johnson? I guess a glut of middle infielders is worth a lack of backup catchers. And yeah, I know, its early in the offseason.
