Yeah, the govt is pretty fucking stupid.

Has nothing to do with the government. It has to do with all the junkies and the people making fuck tons of cash selling that shit to them, which is not good for society as a whole. Blame those people for ruining legitimate reasons for the drug, like his son.

Went to a game in Seattle and honestly, I wasn't impressed. It was a shithole, and I couldn't find good chili anywhere, and it rained all the time and my blouse shrunk and there were homeless hipsters everywhere drinking coffee and staring at my breastesses because my blouse shrunk due to all of the rain who kept drinking coffee in the shithole that was Seattle. Needless to say, I was not impressed. Oh, and the chili was really bad. I would just stay home and watch it on the Sunday ticket, if I were your son.

You could be my son and daughter from what I gather.

Not too many old enough to remember the older, great SNL

I probably would be old enough but back then we didn't watch SNL.

Saturday nights, 10:30 pm CST, was reserved for watching Houston Wrestling.

How many people remember "Saturday Night Live With Howard Cosell" on ABC, which forced the NBC show that launched the same year to be called "Saturday Night" at first?
I watched the premier of the ABC show for about three minutes before changing the channel...I was about 10 at the time.

Here's a clue in case you don't even know who Cosell was....

I don't remember that one. I remember sneaking out of bed to watch SNL.

Cosell doing comedy was comedy in itself...I mean, Howard was really a master of UNINTENTIONAL comedy, not straight comedy.

I'm surprised my dad let me watch Saturday night (later SNL), he would make comments when the comedy got raunchy but never made me shut it off. He really hated it when I watched Monty Python...

When my kid was in pain in Fla I sent down some of my meds via UPS from Mass.
Just got creative with the packaging and sent it to where he was staying with some clothes.
Like shipping a suitcase to avoid bag fees.
Easy peasy.

This is a 2.5 day journey. Staying in a hotel.

Mailing something is not going to work for this.

We seem to have solved this problem (thanks to Uhsplit ) but it is going to take some fancy footwork and there will be paid for excess they cannot take home.

So extra cost but not enough to kibosh the expedition.

I get my weekend alone at home...... Well I guess not alone, the ball and chain will be there as well.
