Could Nick Saban realistically retire if he wins the NC?

Would be his 6th NC, he's 65 years old, will be the GOAT (yes, even greater than the Bear). Bammers, what do ya'll think?

No.

He'll coach until he's tired of it, probably 10 more years. That's what he claims anyway.

Sorry.

He'll quit when he's bored. He accomplished just about anything a college coach could accomplish. I could see him trying something else. I highly doubt he'll be there for 10 more years though.

I'm wondering if he would like to try the NFL again?

He's already the GOAT, but he's going to make sure that his status is unreachable.

I honestly think if he keeps up the recruiting, the way he has, he finishes with 8 national titles.

These guys don't stay over the idea of legacy. It's a massive job to run a college football program. 18+ hour days, lots of travel, dealing with the media and boosters, etc.

Many quit when the politics get to them, some health. Others close to that program would have to say whether or not he seems drained and burned out or appears to be loving the grind and results and is really into what he's giving these kids, but it's some combination there that will lead him to stay or go.

I'm pretty sure I've explained this already so I don't know why the question keeps getting asked but Nick Saban will continue coaching until the devil cashes in on his deal and takes his soul.

Maybe not for legacy, but guys like that are workaholic perfectionist nuts. Those types don't typically retire early. My bet would be on he has some years left.

Can the devil really take a loan out on his own soul?

No need to be a grammar Nazi. Even a smart ass one

Edit never mind you are calling Saban the devil not making fun of my bad use of pronouns.

I can't imagine he'll stay 10 more years. Sorry, Bammers. He'll quit when he gets bored. I'd imagine he stays at least 5 years. Probably wins two more titles during that time.

Yeah, I'm sure it gets really boring winning championships every other year. He's clearly on autopilot at this point. He gone.

Fine with me, everything after 2009 has been icing on the cake anyway.

Yeah, I'd be the worst grammer nazi.

Yes I am intentionally spelling grammar incorrectly.

Saban has got to be to the point on dynasty mode where you start playing as North Texas just cause you're bored. So...Saban to North Texas?

Saban to Western Michigan. Chip Kelly OC. Les Miles DC.
It would be like having three head coaches.

Saban screaming at Miles for eating grass on the sidelines again but every time he turns his back Chip steals another one of his Lil Debbies
