So a team that has a history of trading down, is going to trade up in a draft full of "decent" QB prospects, more so than the last decade, but without any true "GREAT" QB prospects?

They can probably get Lamar Jackson in Round 2.
I realllllllly don't think Jackson is going round 2 for the same reasons Rudolph is going in the 1st round.

NO way does NE trade both 1's for a QB. They have serious needs on the def side of the ball. LB, DE, S, CB are all issues coming up for this team. They traded Cooks because they could not extend him and instead of letting him walk in FA for a comp pick, the got a 1st for him. No brainier on that one. I'd rather sign Manzel than give up two 1st's when we can actually get some def players that will make a difference.
