“We can confirm his passing and at this time there is nothing suspicious to report but we are conducting an investigation regarding his unattended passing,” Orlando PD Sgt. Wanda Miglio told the Courier News.
Just saw, that's too bad. I am glad he at least got to see the hall of fame before he died. Great player, great Seahawk. Sad we could never put a team around him to go the distance. One of the best DTs of all time.
My family has been watching Hawks games since they started the franchise. My younger brother named his enormous Golden Retriever 'Tez.' Have fond memories of a guy who was a bright spot in some otherwise dismal seasons. If he'd played in NY or LA or for a better team, he'd have been a household name.
Yeah, it's almost always one of the first things I think about him is his tribute to Jerome Brown in '92. Watched every game that year (first season I can remember doing that), absolutely loved Tez.
IMO, Felix Hernandez is the modern day "Tez" in Seattle sports. Both spent their entire career (Felix has time to leave, but the best is behind him) playing for a Seattle team where we chose to watch the games, knowing we would probably lose, because of how special these guys were. "Tez" was flat out dominant, and kept me interested in some of the darkest days as a Seahawks fan. Thanks for the memories big guy!
So glad he was inducted into the HoF before his un-timely passing. truly one of the greatest players and team mates ever and i don't just me on the Hawks i mean in the NFL period! I feel blessed i got to watch him play and meet him in person. Such a gentile giant off the field but a monster on it.
