Oklahoma won't be able to afford him by then anyways. By that time the Big12 will have dissolved and Oklahoma will be spending all of their $$$ on gas driving back and forth to California.

Isn't Oklahoma kind of like SEC country where they just hitch their homes to their trucks and drive to away games?

Sounds good to me!

ACC
East: Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia
North: Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse
South: Duke, NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest
West: Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, Vanderbilt

Big 16
East: Cincinnati, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State
North: Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, Wisconsin
South: Illinois, Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue
West: Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska

Pac-16
East: Houston, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech
North: Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State
South: Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Utah
West: California, Stanford, UCLA, USC

SEC
East: Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, South Carolina
North: Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss
South: Florida, Florida State, Miami, South Florida
West: Arkansas, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State

A variant on the "blow it all up" realignment above:

ACC
East: Duke, NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest
North: Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia
South: Florida, Florida State, Miami, South Florida
West: Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, South Carolina

Big 16
East: Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse

Pac-16
East: Houston, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech
North: Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State
South: Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Utah
West: California, Stanford, UCLA, USC

SEC
East: Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
North: Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska
South: Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss
West: Arkansas, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State

I moved some of the divisions around to balance the power better among the three eastern conferences. The SEC is less SE than before, but the ACC is more AC. For what it's worth, Nebraska/Oklahoma is an in-conference game again.

Interconference annual matchups: Auburn/Georgia, Oklahoma/Texas, Pittsburgh/West Virginia

As long as we're delving into fantasy land, here there are no alternating pods, just four 4-team divisions per conference. Each team plays its own division plus two teams from each of the other three divisions (alternating annually). Conference championships are a two-round affair.

Also, no preserved interdivisional crossovers either. Alabama/Tennessee is probably the only strong, active rivalry that would be interdivisional here, and they're already playing every other year as part of the regular conference schedule. If they want, they can schedule an OOC matchup the other half of the time.

Not annually. Bi annually. that way you go home and away then switch to the other 2.

So if we alternate biennially instead of annually, here's what a team's schedule would look like:

book in an FCS and NonP5 or 2 nonP5 for 2 more home games each year. and throw in a P5 teams where some years could be home
so 7 or 8 home some years
6 or 7 others.
either way should potentially be at least half the games each year
