Steven is gone. He's going to command some hefty money from someone and Seattle just doesn't have it with only about $24M in cap before rookies, and we didn't lose our 2nd and have two 3rds likely (Irvin compensatory). He was bad at XPs but he's been money for a long time on the field goals.

Why is a team going to pony up big dollars for a kicker who struggled mightily all year?

Not saying someone may not offer him a decent contract, but why is someone going to break the bank for Haush?

Because he's reliable in actual field goals and other teams stupidly overpay for free agents constantly. I'd like to think we're not one of those orgs...
