Simmons completed a flip from Miami that had been two weeks in the making. Trent Bray again the recruiter for the Florida linebacker. He's a bit undersized but packs a punch and can run sideline to sideline. With the Simmons commitment Nebraska moves into the top 20 in recruiting.

Simmons has a nose for the football, that is good. You don't need to be blazing fast as long as you are always in there.

I just checked Miami's recruiting, Miami wasn't hurting for LB recruits. Miami has three other Florida stud LB recruits.

A surprise as Simmons is a HUGE Hurricanes fan.

It certainly feels that way right now... let's hope we can have a solid first season to ride this positive momentum. The connections they have made for the 2017 class could be huge.
