Babcock should be able to exploit the pairing of Bieksa/Theodore pretty easily. If he needs any visual aids, just show Tomas Tatar's hat trick goal from Saturday night. This one is going to get ugly for the Ducks.

He's playing a specific role BBB. When you're supposed to be out there winning 55% of faceoffs and you score goals instead, you're hurting the team.
Saddest part is that I know you're referring to our 4th line centre but you could just as easily be referring to our 2nd line centre.

The thought of The Goat and Ben Smith on the same line right now is terrifying

Maybe the "former Leaf haunts his old club" theme works for coaches too.

Friend got his hands on some tickets for tonight so I'll be trying to fling peanuts at Randy's head from 10 rows up.

If Matthews played baseball, I'm pretty sure he could hit a curve ball.

Zach Hyman blew two breakaways and then punched a Duck in the back of the head to set up Fowler's game-winner on the (three second) PP. How guys like Marner and Nylander, both of whom are really fuckin good, can get banished to the 4th line by Babcock for petty shit but Hyman is skating again a couple minutes later with top liners is so beyond ridiculous.

That's to say nothing of his line usage throughout the game, especially in the third when they needed a goal. My friend and I tried to keep count of the zone starts where he threw fucking Freddy the Goat and the two nitwits out there instead of guys who can actually score. I think they managed to stay in the Anaheim third for more than 5 seconds once.

It may look pretty unassuming, but this 2,670 square-foot home just sold for $1.1 million.

The home, located in the Toronto suburb of Vaughan, drew a flurry of bids when it was listed at $699,900 last week, according to the Toronto Star.

Two open houses were held last weekend and were so busy visitors reportedly lost their shoes at the entranceway.

What’s even more remarkable, however, is that the home hasn’t undergone any substantial renovations or updates since it was built in 1984.

“I purposely put it for sale without renovating or painting it,” agent Steve Atsaves of Royal LePage Grange Hall Realty told The Star.

Regardless of the interior, just looking at this place from the outside and knowing it's in Vaughan is enough info to know this house was listed at least $300k too low.

Likely what attracted so many people and created the bidding war - Maybe a roll of the dice by the home owner, but it worked out pretty well.

I know that but it was pointless - if they had listed for $900k-$1mil they likely would've landed at the same sale price or close to it.

All shit like this does is allow the agent to put those dumb "sold for x% over asking" signs on the lawn and their website. Strategies like this have almost no effect whatsoever on the final sale price and just wastes a fuck-ton of peoples' time.

Lot of talk about JVR being trade bait, and given the sources I would surmise the info is being purposely leaked by the Leafs to generate interest.

Here's what the Leafs should do with JVR:

1) Not trade him.

2) Re-sign him long term this summer.

Good? Good.
