McJesus is certainly driving the offense (along with Draisaitl), but the real MVP of that team is Talbot. The Oil are still a tire fire in their own zone and Talbot bails them out time and time again. Flames should have won on Saturday night, but some poor finishing and several great saves by Talbot were the difference.

Geez, you'd think a decade of missing the playoffs and being one of the worst franchises in professional sports over that span would take away some of the smugness and arrogance, but some success halfway through a season and it all returns like a backed up toilet. So I watched a little of the Oilers - Habs game yesterday - McJesus is a heck of a player and he's already a superstar in this league, but man oh man for such a great skater he sure goes down easy with the slightest bit of contact. I wonder if that's a coaching strategy due to the fact the Oilers haven't exactly been scoring a lot of goals these days.
