It certainly sounds like one or maybe both of Torts/Gillis will be toast at the end of the season...

I wonder if Gillis steps down - I mean, I know he hasn't done a good job, but if he really wants to make a statement, him stepping down would make a statement that he never wanted Torts and if there is enough peer pressure to ownership to get rid of Torts, they might both end up gone

Anybody think Gillis want a do-over on those Sedin contracts that kick in next season? (4 years at 7 million per season)

I love how he's attempting to pimp his prospects

yeah. there is no real reason to be super excited about anyone except maybe Horvat, but the one that blew me away is his description of Matthias.

in truth Im happy we got him but he will never be more than a 3rd or 4th line guy, hes not that great.

Im surprised that even with the last 2 playoffs that this is needed after this year. sounds like please spend more money, please spend more money please dont stop buying...

Mike needs to check his math if he still believes the salary cap is going up by 7 million...

whats the cap at now. I know its not going to 71 million (are we at 64M then?) if so he can lie about that knowing what it is going to be as its just guessing now outside the league. they try to paint rosey as much as possible as its season ticket holder renewal AND playoff deposit time

64.3 million for the 2013-14 season. A 7 million increase would put it over 71 million, but I'm hearing close to 68 million coming out of the GM meetings.
