Game Thread: College Football Game Thread: Week 1

Football season is here. Man Im fired up. A lot of teams opening up today. I can't recall Thursday being this big. Same for tomorrow. Good amount of Friday games.

Games I will pay attention today:
South vs North Carolina
Mich vs Utah
TCU vs Minn
Arizona vs Texas SA

I wish we were starting this season with Michigan. I think it would have been fun.

It would have mirrored last year IMO. Which is always a good thing. But I seem to recall that we beat them one too many times in an opening meeting that the pansies in Ann Arbor refused to open a season against us.

Shane Morris is worse than this guy they ran out last night?

I just want to say college football got me in trouble. Was supposed to help pack for our trip this weekend and must have been caught watching games about 5 times. After the third passive-aggressive back handed comment from the Mrs. all hell broke loose.

LOL Mich lost and looked bad doing it. TCU had a tough time to also. Yesterday was fun watching college football again.

I really watched Mich game and they look like a 4-8 team or 5-7 team. They don't have much talent on that team and their QB is awful. Harbaugh has a big hill to climb to get them where he wants them. This is rebuilding for Mich for this year and maybe next.

I think OSU and ND will benefit from Mich having a down year in recruiting.

Since they're not on the schedule for the interim, I'm all for that.

I think a couple of teams look suspect, TCU being one of them. It's only one game though, they'll prove it or otherwise in a few weeks.
