Coppin State might have the worst Division 1 baseball program in the nation. I'll be interested to see how the Wildcats respond to their first good opponent with their roster's reduced talent this year.

He's a very good hitter. Tons of raw power, and a lot of room to fill out. I don't know how he'll translate to professional ball, but I always thought he had a great plate approach here, and his swing was very mechanically sound.

13-9 over Coppin State today. Much closer than it should have been. I read that Coppin State had an inside-the-park grand slam at one point.

In any case, a 3-0 start for the Wildcats, taking care of business against an inferior team 43-10.
