I was never a fan of BC from the beginning. However, this wife of his pretty much ruined any future career he may have. He had to go, but damn how aweful for him to have his career ruined by his spouse. Just my opinion. Hopefully we can get a person in who can do the job and not bring in baggage on the way. Perhaps start interviewing the spouse as well as the next man up.

He is not the first guy to have his career destroyed by his wife.

Colangelo's wife is clearly ride or die. Taking full blame and factory resetting her phone before turning it over to investigation to not incriminate Colangelo. Notice the law office didn't say Colangelo wasn't involved, just that they couldn't conclusively prove it with what they had and admitted that their investigation was limited. This is just law cover for "we know you did it, but we're letting you save face here with some rough plausible deniability because Jerry Colangelo is your dad".

It's pretty obvious that he and his wife were sharing the accounts. The damning piece of evidence for me is when The Ringer reporter contacted the Sixers about 2 accounts and within 20 minutes all 5 were deactivated. The only people who reportedly knew about the inquiry in that time span were the aide who took the reporter's call and Colangelo. There's no way a team aide would have that kind of knowledge that the accounts talked about so it isn't hard to figure out what was going on

I just read that as well. I think the Sixers should dismiss pops as well. I would think it would be kind of awkward situation to be honest. Ownership should cut ties with the family all together, give him some type of settlement and start over with a new face. That's just me.
