Multiplayer maps look good. It's definitely not Ghosts as far as I can tell from streams and reviews.

The game looks almost stereotypically Call of Duty. Doesn't push the envelope but checks all of the boxes and gives people what they want.

Exactly what I like to hear. Going to get it eventually.

The only thing I have to add is that the War mode is apparently great but needs more maps and the online is terrible right now so its best to wait a bit.

Id imagine there are people who have played it with more input but I'm waiting about 2 weeks for the smoke to clear to see if people are still playing it.

I still have the same complaint. Even when they try to make a "larger map" it's all purely designed for close quarter combat. What is the point of even having sniper and LMG guns? I guess I have to come to terms with every Call of Duty being just a run and gun game and nothing else.

Started playing tonight and really do enjoy it. I'm no pro or really even good player, but I like this kind of game.

Anyone get any cool Epic or Heroic weapon variants yet? I pulled the Heroic Lee Enfield and it's pretty:

Couldn't find a picture but it's cued up in this video:

First COD I've purchased since MW2. Really glad they brought back the War mode even though the new version isn't the exactly the same thing as we saw in World at War. The tank escort is basically just Payload from Overwatch, which is fine because Overwatch isn't a bad game.

Damn though guys, remember with COD 2 and 3 where everybody started out with the same 6 classes and you didn't have to play for 40 hours and log in every day to complete daily challenges in order to get fake money to open loot crates for a chance to unlock the gun you want to use?

I get it, money grab and all. People will just pay real money for the fake money to get the loot crates. But god damn is this shit gay as fuck.

I typed in Call of Duty WW2 Sniper Montage in Youtube and it came back with 276,000 results. I doubt they are all relevant but you can absolutely snipe if you want to.

The problem with Sniping in these games is that the people who do it are so good that you need to build the maps around the idea of run and gun or else the game is just snipers and the PVP dies.

Are they just run and gunning, no scoping, and using it like a shotgun? That's not exactly ideal. WaW did it right with deep lanes on large maps which turned into high risk areas to attempt to set foot in. Even the first few Black Ops ges were able to do this.

Quick scoping.

To my knowledge thats how sniping works in the majority of current FPS games. ADS Camping isnt really something I look for in a shooter, to be honest, but maybe thats in Battlefield

So I read the campaign is 6 hrs long. Nope. Not buying. Damn shame these franchises no longer put time and effort into good campaigns

The supply drops only get you the superficial cosmetic stuff, not guns and perks. I prefer it this way where you need to play to unlock things.

It's sad that games are seldom in good shape upon release anymore.

I drunkenly bought it last night. Omg it’s so fucking terrible. I’m so mad at myself. I don’t know why I thought it would be like cod united offense m. It’s fucking terrible. Don’t buy it. Battlefield dudes battlefield. Cod sucks dick. The campaign was alright. But the 12 on 12 multiplayer? It’s just so lame man. No vehicles no real reliance on teammates. It’s shit

Is the campaign worth a damn? COD for quite some time now has put out easy as shit 5 hr campaigns and I've stopped giving them my money.
No it’s not. I got drunk and bought it. Don’t do it. Sick with battlefield. Wait a year till the stupid the price. The campaign was okay. But not near as good as past campaigns. A lot of games focus on multiplayer now and campaigns have suffered.

Yeah, figured that out after actually playing it again this weekend. I think BF1 had what I'm talking about.

Anyway after sinking a few more hours into this I'm having a pretty good time with this game. Pretty much what I was expecting. Basic mindless fun and I can always go team kill in search and destroy if I get bored playing it the normal way.

By the way, I didn't think they would still have the custom logo tools after all the nasty shit people made back on Black Ops 1.

Oh well, hope they enjoy my new emblem.
