1) LSU and aggies: both top 15

2) aggies ranked ahead of Auburn. Same conference. Auburn has a better record. Auburn just beat aggies @ a&m. And aggies ranked 2 spots higher.

3) Louisville ranked ahead of UCF. By 9 spots as well. Same record. UCF has played the much much much tougher schedule. UCF went into L'Ville and beat them at their house. Yet L'Ville ranked 9 spots ahead?

The Big 12 has 4 teams in the top 13????

That is stunning. The conference is really down. It is likely the worst of the AQ leagues.

heck, there was a not a single Big 12 team in the top 10 for 4 weeks.

I guess it is simply a function of the better teams in the Big 12 are not losing to the bottom teams.

They will all start playing each other and falling out soon....but its surprising nonetheless.

Got news for ya.

With the way the SEC pads their November schedules with BOTH Bye weeks and FCS teams, there will be a plethora of them back in the top 10 come December.

So, does that mean that the PAC, ACC, Big 10 and Big 12 are currently overrated, since they have already played all of their pooftas...cuts both ways.

My point is, it's better to lose early than late when it comes to the Final polls and the subsequent preseason polls the following year..

When you talk shit out of your mouth does it just pour out like water, or is it like soft serve?

Saban voted Oklahoma St 4th...along with 5 other coaches, David Shaw, Troy Calhoun(actually 5th), Gary Pinkel, Doug Marrone, and David Cutcliffe. None of whom are in the SEC.

All of the other SEC coaches voted them 3rd...as 38 coaches did.

All of the Big 12 coaches voted Okie St. as #2 as only 17 of the coaches did.

Was it petty on Saban's part...probably. Did it influence in any way the results of the coaches poll...not it the slightest. Alabama was the clear #2 in the pre-bowl coaches poll because 2/3 of the coaches thought they were.
