Luke is right, LeBron got away with an offensive foul.

Looks like the Lakers are fading mentally as the lead continues to build, 113-106.

They just let James turn the corner and drive to the basket. Not one person touched him because he is a 67% FT shooter.

The youngsters will have to learn how to close-out games. They were doing fine until they let James take over the game with about 6 minutes to go in the fourth.

Ingram needs to put some muscle on this summer and he'll be pretty damn good.

We are headed to our 50th loss and tank mode is still intact. We still have the chances for the number two spot still secure.

125-120, an All-Star game score. No D. We lose our 50th. We played pretty well for the majority of the game so progress is being made. On we go.

The end of the game was the difference between a team that knows how to close and a team that is trying to learn how to close. Hopefully the Lakers will take some lessons from that game.

Indeed, TJF12. You could really watch the mental cave-in by the youngsters with about 6 minutes to go. The Lakers just let James take-over and do practically anything he wanted. They didn't even foul him when they had the opportunities because he is only a 67% FT shooter. The big three then joined in and the game was done then.

We gave a great effort vs the Cavs but at the end we showed we're still lacking some veteran leadership.....it's why I personally would trade the top 3 pick and the late 1st rounder (we got from Houston) for a proven vet to a team that maybe wants to blow their squad up and start over.

Pray for me guys.....this Sunday is my mom's celebration of life where we basically say goodbye. I've been doing okay and as well as can be expected but I'm not afraid to say I'm going to be a mess.

I don't know. I kind of like the idea of watching a group of guys grow up together. I mean, don't get me wrong, if they can land a top tier vet without giving up too much...I'd be thrilled.

But I'm kind of excited about watching a group of young guys, who were all drafted by the Lakers, grow up together.

I think you'll get through it just fine. I was able to get through my Mom's by remembering that it's a celebration and she would have wanted exactly what we did, which was get family and friends together over some good food (my Mom cooked for everybody) while telling funny and touching stories/memories about her.

I hear ya DJ. It is not easy but go with what comes to the surface. If mess is on the menu, go with it. It is a very integral component of the grieving process and the saying good-bye of a loved one. Time is the key and give yourself permission to take plenty of it. Just as loving someone is not a one-day deal, neither is saying good-bye. It just takes time but it starts with mess!

Yea, I'll go with TJF12 on this one. If Deng and Mosgov aren't the final straw on the hope of finding a so-called top tier vet, I don't know what would be. Top tier vets start out as rooks. Granted, the experience is what is needed but you get the experience by just playing. We have a good young core and a great new head coach and we are finally getting to the end of the Dwightmare and Nash debacles. I say stick with the kids and add more of them and add the pieces like the 2-year deal just given to David Nwaba. Great signing BTW!
