And yes our rushing D is not very good. We haven't been tested there against a good team yet, so I'm not sure how weak we are or if we have made strides to correct the problem.

I hear that. If you come back with a voice I would question your fanaticism. I can remember a lot of games (mostly FSU & USC) where I couldn't talk on Sunday. My seats were row B on the 35 yd line on the North (visitors) side. So we sat right behind the opposing bench. Let's just say they could hear us. We also ate a lot of crow.

I agree completely on that. Unfortunately I live in Toledo, OH so I only go to a game or two usually in Blacksburg. I do hit up a lot of Michigan games though. I'm loud at home though for Tech. Growing up my father, brother and I watched the game in separate rooms. My mom says she was used to surround sound long before it was a popular home entertainment set up. My mom would typically take my sister and the pets out on game day because we were a bit to enthusiastic for them.

What kinds of runners have you seen, are they typically power or speed?

Nice, our speed back can run over/drag people, and our other back is old school power back (he was our fb last year).

We completely stopped giving Dyer the ball when he was going off.........I still have no idea why

Looks like it's here to stay for a little while.

So much for all the "hype" folks... beating three ranked teams in a row including dominating VT at night... in Lane Stadium... despite "Enter Sandman"... and VT clearly being the better team despite the blowout loss... How would you like your crow, sirs?

I'm actually eating my own share for not having faith in my own team... :L

Still not 100% sold on us dominating the rest of the schedule, but I am sold on our coaches and players.

That's a little premature, but you have to wonder why he hasn't pulled the string on replacing Garcia yet. Does he really have that little faith in the backups?

I mean, I would think that somebody on Carolina's team could throw the ball to Jeffries a couple times a game...

They haven't looked good. I have little faith in them from what I've seen myself. I'd like to see him go back to the rotating system that's his old trademark. That way it takes two to fuck everything up, not just one.
But to want to fire a successful coach (these people were claiming last year was "our best year ever") is soooo Tennessee. Fucking age of entitlement.
