I didn't see the original video but apparently some asshats pranked a homeless old man in New Jersey into pouring hot coffee over his head for $5. I guess the guy was wearing an old weathered 49ers jacket in the video and it eventually got back to them. They decided to send him a care package.

They didn't have to do a thing but they made this guy's day all the way across the country after some idiots took advantage of him.

I believe that this was actually payment on his new contract to come and play QB for the 9ers.

People simply don't have anything better to do with their lives and they only get a kick out of making others miserable and hurt... It's beyond pathetic!

Good move by the 49ers! Hope this gentleman gets just for what those asshats did to him!

Damn, does Ron stand right by the door all day? That was the quickest opening of a door I've seen.

Would have been funnier if they sent him a pot of coffee...

Doesn't seem homeless to me... well put together, trimmed beard (hell I make 6 figures and my beard is all over the place), and in a decent hotel. Tucked in shirt, prescription glasses, I call bullshit, or perhaps even the homeless in San Francisco are rich.

Also completely staged. That man opened the door faster than me while drunk and a pizza is on the way.

The "commentator" or whoever that guy was giving him the package seems "off" as well.

That's what I was thinking, and although it was a thoughtful thing to do, considering who it come from was very cheap....They should have sent him a new motorhome with the 9rs colors and name on it, so he would have never been homeless again, now that would have been impressive.....

He probably knew someone was coming to see him, but that doesn't mean he knew what was in the package... Also you can donate old glasses, if your homeless they have places you can get clothing and some necessities...

I agree all the way around, but can the dude that actually poured hot coffee over his own damn head not be accountable for something?

Is it coincidence that Kaep requested a trade immediately after this video was released???

I heard a rumor that Baalke and York wanted a more cerebral QB, so they decided to go with the homeless guy who pores coffee over his head for money over Corporal Colin Klinger

I really hope he is found and has scolding hot coffee and soup poured on his junk and then thrown in jail
