Yes, and Orlando Franklin was cut again.

Nice 9 year career for Clady. Injuries cut it 2-3 years short, but he really was a successful draft choice for us. He came onto the scene as a rookie and played great.

What do Ryan Clady and Steve Atwater have in common besides just being Denver Broncos?

Each went to the Jets for a season and, after realizing what a mess that franchise is, decided it wasn't worth it to keep playing and retired.

WINNER WINNER WINNER

They both ended their career with one year on the Jets after playing for the Broncos.

Jets jokes are personal attacks this year. I don't want to have to sue you for slander. Or hurting my feelings!

And.... you drone on. Last year they earned their reputation as the New York paper planes.

As much as his last few years sucked Clady was a hell of a player when healthy and one of our better 1st round picks in a while. Certainly miles better than the O-Lineman we drafted in the 1st round years before Clady.

I will say Elway has done pretty well with 1st round picks or 1st picks in the draft. Bolles sounds like he is the one guy that can actually stop Von Miller at camp this year. If he can stop Von he can stop anybody.

Paxton still don't know but I'm betting we find out this year. Before him though Shane Ray has looked pretty good. Bradley Roby has a chance to be a star. Derek Wolfe has more than panned out for this team. And of course Von Miller well we have a Future HOF player on the team with him.

Really since Clady was drafted the 1st round picks that haven't panned out are Ayers, Moreno, Tebow, and Sly. All those guys started at least for this team at some point though.

It depends on what your definition of "haven't panned out" means. Some of those guys had their moments for us. Ayers surely not one of them.

The others in a very small time frame. I'd say Moreno while not worth the 12th overall pick had an ok career as a Bronco... Had one REALLY good year. Wasn't consistent enough to be worth that high of a pick, but he panned out in some token for us.
