I got to see that OU team play in person. 1971 was my senior of high school and we had a game against Muskogee. It was band day in Norman that Saturday and our band director knew OU's band director and he got our band in to see the game against Iowa State. Watched Greg Pruitt break off a 78 yard (if I remember correctly) touchdown!
