Interesting. It's been a while since I've read the first book (just read the last one 6 weeks back or so), but I'm assuming that there's no way in hell that they even try to do one season per book.

Which is probably good.

I have no idea what point they'll end on. We haven't even revealed the first big bad yet.

Miller and Holden are about to meet. So I'm going to guess that season 1 will end with the big reveal on Eros. From the previews it does appear that the firefight on Eros will begin this season.

So not much talk about this show in the last couple of weeks. I felt it got better and better.

Two hour season finale. Looks like they are going to get the entire book done in Season 1 which I didn't think they could half way through.

I too have it DVR'd and agree that the show is good but dry... Which is also why i am so slow to watch the finale... a 2 HR finale needs dedication... will probably wait for the weekend to give it the time it deserves...

I don't think they came close to end of book 1, because the confrontation/justice for JM is still to come in season two

It's been a few years since I read book but I don't remember him leaving Eros at all.

I haven't made up my mind if they're going to stay true to the book and have him die (ghost essentially) or if they'll change the story arc to have the actor stay longer in the series. But we haven't come close to resolving Julie's father, or getting to Venus eventually. I gotta think those are the end of season two.

I enjoyed Season One... looking forward to Season Two... and of course Vikings Season Finale on History Channel is scheduled to extend until 10:01 pm eastern, so it will cut into the first minute of The Expanse tonight... argh!

Legion premieres Wednesday Feb 8th on FX.... not sure of broadcast time... hopefully it won't coincide with The Expanse every Wednesday.
