Think about it - if youre a piece of shit team like the Kings or the Suns, what do you have to lose by giving up a draft pick in June to get the remainder of Rose's contract. Chicago moves on and gets rid of him and the the crappy team takes a chance that Rose will be able to play some day in the future and doesn't end up like Oden

The Bulls would never do that, but that's kind of interesting.

They might be better to wait to see who the worst teams are and go for one in the top five - but If I seriously doubt many teams would bite on that - Rose does not have much trade value

Who would trade for Rose? The way he plays, it's only a matter of time before he tears up one of his knees again. He's the new Amare.

That's the problem, but the Lakers got Ramon Sessions for Luke Walton, so anything is possible

Yeah...........and Toronto got rid of Bargs and Gay in the same year. So you are right. I think right now it's tank mode for most teams in the NBA this year.

lol no team would take that deal...maybe you give up a late 2nd round..at this point rose is labeled glass knees till proven otherwise. even when he was playing he didn't seem like he was capable of being same player...pretty sure he had one of the worst shooting percentages in the league

LOL - Speaking of glass knees, do you think Andrew Bynum will last the entire season?

"It's shocking how fragile D-Rose is. Dude is always hurt, man!" - Andrew Bynum

This could be a good move for Chicago they save money & start to rebuild, in reality it's not like if they were going to win a title with the team they have IMO, but i know Chicago wouldn't do this trade D ROse is like God to them, for now at least.

Chicago is already in tank mode. You saw the Knicks/Bulls game tonight? The Bulls absolutely own the Knicks and for them to go down by 20 at the Garden...............tank! Most teams(especially in the East)are tanking. By the trading deadline, I'd expect Toronto, Boston, and Philly to make some deals in order for their record to be worse. They were winning way to much for the teams liking.

Rose is talented enough that even without seeing him play again after his latest injury, someone might bite.

Look - The Lakers got Pau Gasol(brought us two championship titles) for Kwame Brown and Sessions for Kwame Brown - so yes - someone is going to risk a free draft pick for a chance to have one of the best point guards in the NBA - in fact I think the Lakers would - huge gamble, but worth the risk.

Ugh... I try to think you're somewhat of a decent poster, than you type this. Why would the Suns give up one of the many 1st rd draft picks in the upcoming draft that is extremely deep for an injury prone combo guard?

The Kings? Possibly. They just traded for the biggest chucker outside of Detroit so who knows with them.
