They don't have characters like that anymore: Barkley, Darryl Dawkins, Laimbeer...players have too much to lose now.

Never did like Barkley - I remember the fight he had with Shaq who got him down on the ground and tried to ram his head with his fist - Too bad he failedThey don't have characters like that anymore: Barkley, Darryl Dawkins, Laimbeer...players have too much to lose now.

Barkley was a thug without much talent - Can't say that about LaimbeerWell, it's like Laimbeer. Everyone hated him, but it was fun having him there.

You might be insane. Not much talent? Name another NBAer w/ 23,000 points & 12,000+ rebounds. Not much talent.
That's one of the things I miss about those days. Today's players are so concerned about their legacies/image that they can't really get away with some of the things the guys in the past could.
Charles Barkley talks about playing drunk and the reaction is "Charles, you so crazy."
But if a Lebron or KD or someone like that said the same thing today...they'd be getting destroyed over it.

At Least Lambeer got 2 NBA championshipsPretty sure Barkley takes a giant steaming crap on Lambeer in terms of overall career and talent.
Barkley always had a mouth - lolThe best was Barkley trying to one up Shaq saying that he should've won more titles in LA.
Shaq came out with (paraphrasing here) "I won 3 out of 4 Finals while there...I was traded because the owner knew I was getting older and told me he didn't want to pay me."
But Barkley's out here playing drunk, yet telling other players they underachieved. Classic.
