Everyone is leaving Oakland. No new stadium. I highly doubt they will build one for the A's. I just dont see the A's staying there much longer. New destinations?

Las Vegas seems to be the new hot spot for Pro Sports

Montreal would probably make the most sense for everything, except geography.

Vegas makes the most geographic sense.

Gonna need an inside dome stadium there...almost as shitty in Summer as Saint Louis.

Force those two shitty owners to sell their teams so they can be competitive again

Portland seems to make the most sense in terms of geography.

I think Montreal is the soup du jour for shifting franchises but I think Tampa might be the wild card in that mix if they can't get a ballpark off the ground.

I think the Mariners would pitch a bitch about Portland.

Las Vegas? The bucks are there if the casinos want to get involved but MLB would never allow that.

Personally, I think Brooklyn is a great place to play ball.

Royals probably call Omaha their turf. Is MLB really looking for another small market?
Thats what i thought but we have a ton of small market teams in the MLB. Montreal makes the most sense but all small markets cant find funding for new stadiums. Mexico makes the second most sense to me. Its a huge market and Baseball is loved in Mexico.

I am wary of the economy of the Latin countries. Mexico has 13,000,000 people but 12,942,294 would not be able to buy a ticket for an MLB game. Who knows?

The "Oklahoma" part of this thread probably makes sense. There's a ton of oil money there and if they want a team, they could probably make a case for it.

Brooklyn is interesting....the NY metro area could definitely support another team in terms of market size. Or maybe northern NJ?

Carolinas could be a good market or how about Nashville ... the Sounds do pretty

There is a real opportunity in the Piedmont Triad, Raleigh-Durham, or Charlotte Metro areas. Minor League teams are doing great in all three areas.

That's why I thought of Louisville as well.
