I'll probably sound like a dick, but I'm not that impressed with Lamar Jackson. Granted, most of what I've seen has been the last two games and they haven't been his greatest, but he seems like a one read, pull it down and run guy. And when you are faster than than the defense, you rack up yards pretty quick.

I'm sure he will gets his TD's still but I don't think he will end the year the way he began it, .02.

I don't think you're all that far off. To be fair, only the Duke game was bad. You can't put the Clemson loss on him, he was phenomenal.

That said, I dunno if Duke was just an aberration, but it's definitely been his "worst" game of the year. I would really love to see them against michigan, Alabama or Ohio State. I think the Clemson personnel losses were just too much to contain him, but those 3 teams have the horses to keep him in check IMO.

Not much to argue with here, though I have to wonder if Cam Robinson didn't get the nod because of his name. From what I've heard from some Bama fans, he's not even the best OL on his team, let alone one of the 5 best in the nation. Rod Johnson from FSU also hasn't been that impressive. From what I'm reading, he's slipping on Big Boards.

Well he's been disappointing this year to a small degree, but the expectations on him are pretty high.

He has done much better lately in not getting the false start penalties.

I don't want to put him down or anything because he's still pretty damn good, but not sure about being on this list.
