Catcher Problems.....

I had Molina go down to the DL, and on Sunday acquired Montero in a trade. On Tuesday he is on the DL...the top 2 catchers on the waiver wire in our SIXTEEN team league are AJ Ellis and Ianetta. I can also grab Tony Cruz, who has actually been making decent production.

Which crappy catcher do I get?

if your league rewards you for walks then ianetta otherwise ellis...

I just lost Montero as well so I feel your pain. Ellis is probably the safe choice, but if he's on your wire then maybe Wilson Ramos is available as well. If so he's another option but unlike the two guys you mentioned, he at least has some upside. I picked up Ramos today.

I have Molina in 2 leagues myself, and grabbed Ellis as his replacement. And, i'm no Dodger homer.

I had Sally P in a roto league this year. I was really excited about the pick back in March.

Last week I completed a trade grabbing Posey, Yelich and Pence for Tulo, Sally P and McLouth. I couldn't do it anymore.

I would take Ellis over Iannetta easy. I would also pick up Ramos over Ellis and Mesoraco over Ellis (if they're available?).
