I agree. We bring in a washed up unreliable kicker, Jon Ryan has been milking this org dry with his pedestrian and underwhelming punts, and the return game has sucked ass since Tate left.

And we've been giving teams good Field position on Kick returns... Shorter fields hasn't helped with the way our defense has been playing all season...

True... maybe injuries slowed him down though. Still, Tate IMO was/is a superior punt returner, and for a team where all the money is locked up on D, punt returning should be a HUGE priority. Same with our punting and field goal capabilities. The fact we've let ALL of that go down the tubes is giant.
