Can we all stop pretending like Vanderbilt isn't a force to be reckoned with in college basketball?

I will add that I worry about Kadeem Allen getting into foul trouble and PJC having to cover van vleet. Allen doesn't have the highest basketball iq and I could see him getting baited by pump fakes and drawing early fouls since wsu is very adept at that skill

I like having Kadeem on Van Vleet because he can be a pest defensively. If he can stay out of foul trouble I think he can contain him well with his length. I really, REALLY don't want to see too much Tolly but he does have the length to be productive down low since WSU is pretty small.

We just really need to pack rebound. They crash the boards hard and we will need to be prepared for that.

I think we match up very well with WSU. Our biggest weakness is when a team has a dominant 3 and stretch 4, WSU has neither. Ryan Anderson is our most productive player and he struggles mightily when the other team has length down low, but WSU really doesn't have that. Going to be a hell of a game because you never count out Van Vleet and Baker but those two really will have to be lights out to beat us.

Also, we struggle against the zone and I don't think WSU plays any.

I agree. Anderson and Zeus need to do what Vandy failed to do and that is take advantage of the matchups inside. I think they are better equipped to do so, especially Anderson. Damion Jones is talented but looked pretty raw and missing his free throws killed either his aggressiveness or his coach's gameplan or both.

Vandy did not deserve to be in the tournament. WSU did not deserve to be in the play-in game. The committee has gotten worse and worse over the past several years.
