oh jackass its ok....you really haven't proven anything with you links....the title of the thread is a big 12 team so it does not have to be Baylor you have already said oklahoma could do it....then you turned it into Baylor would not get the bid if they were undefeated...the controversies link has nothing to support your claim that they wouldn't....go cry next to your bill stew pic and get over yourself.

Yet again, resort to name calling because you have no argument to offer. There are a dozen or so teams that are treated differently than the rest, ND, OSU, USC, ALA, OU, UM, etc are given preferred treatment over the less name teams, you can claim all you want that there is not a bias, but there certainly is. Look at 2007, look at last year, look at 2011, right on back, the top branded teams get the nod over the 2nd tier teams.

read back through the thread, DC, YOU keep saying the CPUs will not put a one loss team above undefeated team, and Stanford did NOT jump Baylor, they were ahead of them all along.

The BCS you idiot that is the computers and the cardinals just jumped them last week.

Your arguement is crap.....you keep saying this happens year in and year out yet the links you provided the has never been a one loss team jump a undefeated team from one of the major confs...of course there is bias, but bias does not play into the BCS rankings, which for some reason you think are the CPU rankings...those ranking help determine the BCS so who gives a shit if one of the determining factors ranks a team higher if the final result is said team(Baylor) being on top. You said 6 teams are ranked higher than Baylor in the CPU, but in the only ranking that matters the BCS (which comes from computers, your simple mind cant pick up on that) has Baylor ranked higher than five of those teams.

Baylor was 5 last week and Stanford was 7 so no Stanford was not ahead of them last week...pull your head out of your ...

Re read YOUR posts, YOU said the computers would never put a one loss above an undefeated. There are five above them in the CPU rankings with one loss. YOU said CPU, NOT BSC, yes there is only one one loss team ahead of them in the BSC, and yes we all know the difference. Grow the fuck up and argue your point without calling names.

Stanford with one loss is already above them in the BSC standings and FOUR one loss teams are above them in the CPU rankings. Baylor will NOT be in the BSC "title" game, do you not remember OSU a couple years ago???

I am sure you understand why Stanford is ahead of Baylor at this point in the BCS rankings. If you've followed the BCS closely, this has never happened. Even in 2010, an undefeated TCU was ranked ahead of Stanford, Wisconsin and the Ohio St.

How does it? Human element is only in the rankings, that is why they added the computer element.

Keep posting your nonsense my whole office is cracking up at your stupidity.

One thing you must realize about an undefeated Baylor team and why they will be in the title game---they score points, lots of points and points make for a much more exciting game than the grind it out Bama title game. I think the NCAA would cream on themselves to get the chance at an Oregon/Baylor title game because both teams will score and score often. Simply put--it is an exciting brand of football that will definitely draw a high TV audience. The one loss SEC team will run the football and create another boring/Blah game.

Diehard, I thought you watched more football than that, the SEC, after years of pouring piss on high scoring offenses, is playing offense this year, hell LSUs strngth this year is their QB!!!!!! I agree that there would be a certain amount of interest in Oregon/Baylor, but not enough to untrench the SEC from their spot, ESPN is behind the scenes pulling the strings, and wants the SEC to have a stranglehold on the "title".

are you saying the computer element is NOT biased??? Then why the hell are they all different, a computer spits out the results you program it to.

That was messed up…

Here is my point.

We have never seen a one loss team from an AQ conference ranked ahead of an undefeated team from another AQ conference. NEVER…

The CPU component is not helping Baylor right now. That will change in the next month.

Look back to 2010. In the last BCS rankings, an undefeated TCU was ranked ahead of one loss Stanford, Wisky and tOSU. In 2009, the last BCS rankings had an undefeated #3 Cincy and an undefeated #4 TCU ranked ahead of a one loss UF.

I hope we can stop this nonsense….
