Bye Week

Anyone else suffering from the "Bye Week Blues"? For me, Saturday I become a big fan of both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. I would love to see Ohio State go down, and sPitt destroyed! It would also go a long way towards restoring perceptions of the Big 12.

Looking forward to watching some great match ups Saturday. I too will be a fan of the Sooners and Cowboys. The OSU is getting a lot of undeserved love. A lot at stake for both teams in Norman.

Absolutely...100% agree! I always root for the Big XII when they play OOC games ESPECIALLY when the teams are tOSU and sPitt!! Seeing both of them lose on the same day might be better than a WVU win haha

Agree, I like the bye week to be after the 3 OOC games. Give the players some heal up time and coaches time to focus on a Big12 run before conference play begins.

That said I'm pumped for this weekend, agree I think we are all Cowboys and Sooners this week ( for a short time anyway) and the schedule is loaded with interesting games and regardless of how they turn out my team stays undefeated.

Hard to beat IMO.

I have some great high school games in my area this Friday, then a solid weekend of games to get me through the week. I will be going to the BYU game so i am ready for this weekend to be over.

I really don't care about perceptions of the leagues, as teams play ball. BUT, sPitt and Ohio State losing is reason to celebrate, regardless of who they play.

Not sure I care for another Bye this soon. Just wondering if this helps our D do a little reset from the first four games of predominantly power running teams to more pass oriented teams down the stretch.

As a fan, I hate a BYE this soon but I think you hit the nail on the head. Since we have faced 3 pro style offenses in a row, it's nice to have an extra week to reset and prepare for the air raid/spread offenses that we will face the rest of the season.

Yeah this season seems to be slow in the making, every time I turn around there is a bye week
