You would think with how much time he has missed he is probably gonna be playing out of his mind in September right? Or will this injury affect him all season.

Impossible to tell...

The giants will be out of the playoff race by the time he comes back(if he comes back)... Very hard to be motivated that late for a non-playoff contention team... so even if he does play i wouldn't expect him to to be the dominant innings eater we all know...

BUT, on the positive side, september baseball is littered with doesn't belong players... elite pitchers generally do better vs lesser competition...

What's on the giants' schedule then? Are the dbacks on it? They have to be winning with how they're abusing pitchers.
