Bulls History thread

A thread where we discuss the great history of the Chicago Bulls. From their days of having Sloan, Van Lier, Love, Walker, and Boerwinkle in the 70s to Gilmore, Theus, and Woolridge in the early 80s to Jordan from 84-93 and 95-98 and the Dynasty of the 90s to the Baby Bulls from 05-07 to the Rose lead bulls from 09 to now.

My favorite teams were Gilmore, Theus, Woolridge, at least most memorable when I was playing high school basketball.

Living on Long Island with many Knick fans, being a Bulls fan was hard. I'm only 25 years old and started watching basketball as a kid with my uncle who was a huge MJ fan. I followed suit with him and took a liking to them. It's been rough growing up here with Knicks country with all these fools who believe their team will be good, but in reality, sucks lol

Nothing will ever top the 90's era of basketball for us. The 2000's kinda sucked till Hinrich and Co came around and brought us back to the playoffs. I still believe a healthy Rose will lead us to the promise land.

Yeah it was very hard for me to watch the NBA from 99-04 when the Bulls were bad but after that masterful 2004 draft when they drafted Gordon, Deng, and Duhon and then signed Noc after the draft was great.

Agreed. It was a struggle through those years, but we battled through it and got right back to where we belonged. Better times are coming. Feeling a nice off-season of moves coming up.

I hope. Haven't been watching much this season as it seems the Bulls are on pace for a 40-42 win season. Might get the 4th seed with that record as the east is weak.

Me neither honestly, but that's because my lack of interest in the sport. It bores me.

Yeah Deng is not happy about that move at all, Cleveland is a mess, he wont be re-signing there. I wonder where he will end up?

Probably the Lakers or Knicks.

Been watching some more of the Bulls/Pistons 1990 ECF's. Talk about intense but that Pistons team was deep.

In fact in the 1991 ECF Aguirre and Johnson lead the team in scoring and they were the 6th and 7th men off the bench.

I could see the Lakers going Yankeeish and signing some veteran players to make a run at the title or 2.

With Kobe, they're never really far off. Doing that would help them.
